OUR AIM

Considered approach

At Bhakar Greenfield LLP, we are committed to providing bespoke and personable service to our clients. This means that the services provided and the manner in which they are provided will be tailored to each client’s needs. This ensures we provide high-quality and cost-effective services, completely upfront and transparent with our fees and services offered. To give an overview, we have demonstrated below our fee structure.

Cost estimates

When we are instructed on a matter, we will present our engagement letter at the outset with an estimate of the work involved in the matter, our fees for carrying out the work, and the likely costs of any anticipated disbursements.

We will present this estimate in good faith based upon the information available to us at the time. This estimate is subject to revision and does not amount to a contractual commitment on our part to carry out the work within that estimate. We will tell you promptly if it becomes apparent that our fees are likely to exceed any estimate given to you.

Depending on the type of matter, we may charge:

  • Hourly rates: Some matters are best handled by time spent. We have tiered rates depending on who works on your case (Partner, Associate, Trainee solicitor or Paralegal).
  • Fixed or capped fees: Where possible, especially for more routine legal work (e.g. standard wills, simple probate, or legal drafting), we can agree a fixed fee or cap the cost in advance.
  • Disbursements: These are fees payable to third parties for instance, court fees, search fees, expert reports, etc. We’ll estimate them and let you know what you’ll need to cover.
  • VAT: Unless otherwise stated, VAT is added to our fees.
